The results achieved so far are the great efforts of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang affirmed: The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor determined that this amendment to the Trade Union Law must ensure that the Vietnam Trade Union - a large organization of the working class and laborers - grows stronger, operates effectively, and attracts a large number of laborers to participate.
“Amending the Trade Union Law needs to inherit the contents that have proven reasonable, stable and effective in the implementation process. The amendment must be consistent with the political system, consistent with the requirements of developing a socialist-oriented market economy and international integration under the comprehensive and absolute leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam,” Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang emphasized.

"The leaders of the General Confederation respectfully hope that comrades will contribute their opinions on the basis of ensuring principles in the process of amending the trade union law," said Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang.
