According to Major General Dang Ngoc Bach, in recent years, the People's Public Security Trade Union has always closely followed the direction of the Central Public Security Party Committee, the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, and the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor have performed well the functions and tasks of the trade union organization, improving the effectiveness of caring activities, especially for workers in difficult circumstances.
Along with that, Trade Unions at all levels have performed well social responsibility in gratitude activities "repaying gratitude", "remembering the source of water", social security, caring for and supporting policy families, people with meritorious services, accompanying and encouraging the commune police and people in border areas, islands, and key and disadvantaged areas across the country.
Social security models such as "Journey of gratitude", "The People's Public Security Union accompanies the Commune Police force, people, and border workers to celebrate spring and Tet", the "Adopted Children of the Trade Union" program, gratitude activities, visiting and examining sick and wounded soldiers; visiting and giving gifts to policy beneficiaries every year... are creative, effective and have a strong influence, actively contributing to the work of Party committees and authorities at all levels in ensuring social security.
"In the coming time, the People's Public Security Trade Union needs to continue to promote the organization of gratitude activities, repay gratitude, and extensive social security throughout the trade union system, demonstrating courage and humane traditions, spreading the beautiful image of the People's Public Security force", Major General Dang Ngoc Bach said.
At the visiting and gift-giving program, the delegation presented 172 gifts (VND 1 million/gift and in-kind gifts worth VND 500,000) at the Kim Dong District Police Hall; presented more than 50 gifts to disadvantaged families and meritorious people in the district.
