Very confident in the Union organization

Attending the program were Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Ms. Vu Thi Giang Huong - Member of the Presidium, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Mr. Nguyen Le Huy - Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hung Yen province; Mr. Le Quang Toan - Chairman of the Labor Confederation of Hung Yen province... and nearly 4 thousand union members and workers of Hung Yen province.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Theu, 42 years old, has been a worker at BeeAhn Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Phu Cu district, Hung Yen) for 12 years.

Ms. Theu is one of 20 union members, workers and civil servants in especially difficult circumstances who received gifts on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2025. She is currently being treated at K3 Tan Trieu Hospital.

Talking to Lao Dong reporter on January 12, Ms. Theu choked up: “I am very touched by the attention of the Trade Union organization to union members in difficult circumstances. I have great trust in the Trade Union organization because I have witnessed that every year the Trade Union awards prizes to excellent workers and provides support to workers in difficult circumstances.”

Ms. Theu added that her family's circumstances are difficult, her eldest child is in the army, her second child is in 11th grade; her husband is a freelancer with an unstable income. Because she is sick and hospitalized, the local union will receive the gift on her behalf and deliver it to her.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy, born in 1979, is a worker at Hung Yen Garment II Joint Stock Company (Hung Yen city, Hung Yen). She has received gifts from the Provincial Federation of Labor for 2 years.

“I have been a worker since 2000, my husband works for the same company. My family has 3 children; living in difficult conditions, every time Tet comes, I am very grateful to the union for always caring for workers in difficulty. This year, I received a gift from the union, I am very touched…” - Ms. Thuy shared.

According to the Hung Yen Provincial Federation of Labor, activities to care for union members and workers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025 have a total cost of over 40 billion VND.

Particularly at the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Dang" and "Tet Trung Tu Trung Trung" (Trade Union Tet Market), the Provincial Labor Federation will present 500 gifts to workers, each worth 1,800,000 VND; 100 gifts worth 1,000,000 VND; about 5,000 gifts worth more than 1 billion VND and 400 0 VND shopping vouchers...

The program "Union Tet Market" has the participation of units and enterprises with 50 booths selling at preferential prices according to the welfare program for union members and 0 VND booths...

Workers excitedly participate in "Union Tet space"

Mr. Le Quang Toan - Chairman of the Hung Yen Provincial Federation of Labor said that Hung Yen currently has 1,639 grassroots unions with a total of 173,422 union members.

As part of a series of activities to care for workers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, the Provincial Federation of Labor provided support to over 3,000 workers in difficult circumstances with a total amount of over 3 billion VND.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor said that attending the program, he felt the joy, anticipation, and excitement on the faces of the workers in the Tet space organized by the Trade Union organization.

“It can be said that Tet Sum Vay 2025 organized by the Hung Yen Provincial Federation of Labor is truly a Tet space for workers... The gifts given to workers with achievements in production and workers facing difficulties today are meaningful gifts from the trade union organization to workers, like the connection between the trade union organization and union members and workers,” said Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu.

Also at the program, Mr. Nguyen Le Huy - Permanent Vice Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the proactive connection of the trade union organization with units and enterprises in the effort to take care of workers. Hung Yen has 17 industrial parks and 26 industrial clusters under development; many zones and clusters are ready to welcome enterprises to invest.

“In 2025, trade union officials at all levels will ensure to be a bridge between workers and business owners and a bridge between workers and authorities at all levels to organize good production and take care of workers' material and spiritual lives,” Mr. Nguyen Le Huy emphasized.
