At the event, the provincial National Assembly Delegation presented 300 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to workers and laborers working at 7 forestry LLCs in Tien Yen, Van Don, Uong Bi, Ba Che, Hoanh Bo, Dong Trieu and Binh Lieu.
This is a practical activity to encourage morale and support workers to overcome difficulties after natural disasters.
Speaking at the program, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha sent her best wishes for a happy and prosperous new year to all workers and laborers. At the same time, she expressed her deep sympathy for the difficulties and losses that the provincial forestry sector had to endure due to storm Yagi.
Ms. Ha emphasized that the collective of officers and employees of the Forestry sector needs to continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, make efforts to restore affected forest areas, and complete the goal of bringing the forest coverage rate in the area to 46% by 2025, contributing to the sustainable development of Quang Ninh province.
