The program "Union Tet Market - Tet Sum Vay" in 2025 is one of many activities of Quang Ninh Trade Unions at all levels to take care of union members and workers in the province during Tet holiday.
At the Program, the Provincial Federation of Labor directly presented gifts to 100 workers in difficult circumstances, each gift included 1 million VND and a gift; Commending, recognizing and thanking the contributions of typical units and enterprises in caring for union members and workers.
Delegates cut the ribbon to open the "Union Tet Market" with over 50 OCOP booths, discount booths, and distributed 23,400 shopping coupons to workers.
In particular, the lucky draw program with many attractive gifts such as motorbikes, televisions, refrigerators attracted a large number of union members and workers to participate.
The program has contributed to bringing OCOP goods and products of Quang Ninh province and quality products, goods and services of domestic enterprises and units to a large number of union members and workers; helping workers, especially those in difficult circumstances, have the opportunity to access quality goods at preferential prices; at the same time promoting OCOP products of the province and helping units and enterprises in the area consume and introduce products to workers.
During the Lunar New Year this year, trade unions at all levels in Quang Ninh province have joined with employers in enterprises to strictly implement the Government's regulations on regional minimum wages; participated in developing plans and supervising the payment of salaries, bonuses, and other benefits during the Lunar New Year for workers, ensuring publicity, fairness, accuracy, and timeliness.
Trade unions at all levels have coordinated with employers to develop plans to visit and present gifts to over 50,000 workers in difficult circumstances. Of which, the Quang Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor will present over 10,000 Tet gifts to workers from the support funds of the General Confederation, the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Federation of Labor and socialized sources with a total amount of over 7 billion VND and is expected to continue mobilizing socialized sources to care for workers.
The union will coordinate to develop a plan to take workers and their families home for Tet and return to work after Tet holiday in a thoughtful manner.
