On May 10, Binh Duong Ward Trade Union (HCMC) coordinated with units to organize a launching ceremony to respond to Workers' Month 2026 and the Binh Duong Ward Youth Workers' Singing Contest 2026.
Attending the launching ceremony were leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, leaders of Binh Duong ward, grassroots trade unions, businesses and more than 300 union members and workers.
Binh Duong Ward Trade Union said that the program aims to show the concern of Party committees, authorities, departments, branches, and unions for young workers and laborers in the area. Thereby, taking care of material and spiritual life and creating a fun playground for laborers. At the same time, promoting the pioneering and creative role of young workers in participating in socio-economic development, building an increasingly civilized and prosperous locality.

At the program, the Organizing Committee expressed gratitude to units and businesses that have accompanied in organizing care for workers; expressed gratitude to typical landlords who have made many contributions to support and create conditions for workers living in the ward. Notably, some landlords have reduced room rent to support cases of workers in difficult circumstances, showing the spirit of "the healthy leaf protects the torn leaf".
The program presented 50 gifts to workers in difficult circumstances (each worth 500,000 VND). Thereby, encouraging and motivating workers to strive to rise up in life.
Notably, the "Youth Workers' Singing Contest" in Binh Duong ward in 2026 took place at the program. The program aims to create a cultural and spiritual playground for workers.
