In the days leading up to the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, the Tet atmosphere has spread throughout industrial parks in Ninh Binh. In the stream of people rushing to work overtime to complete the last orders, many workers hope to return to their hometowns to reunite with their families during the traditional Tet holiday. Many union members and workers could not hide their joy and emotion when receiving practical care and sharing from the Trade Union organization.
Thousands of Tet gifts have been handed directly to union members and workers in difficult circumstances. Each gift is not only material support but also spiritual encouragement, helping workers to be more confident in entering a new year with many aspirations.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong, a worker at Sumi Vietnam Wire System Co., Ltd., shared: "This Tet, in addition to the company awarding my 13th month's salary, I also received gifts from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. The gift includes 1 million VND in cash and a gift bag worth 300,000 VND. For workers in difficult circumstances like me, this is truly a great joy.
That emotion is also clearly shown on the face of Ms. Vu Thuy Lieu, 47 years old, a worker at YOKOWO Co., Ltd. (Dong Van II Industrial Park), emotionally said: "I am very happy to receive the attention of the Trade Union organization and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. For me, it is a great encouragement, I really feel like I am not left behind.
Maybe the value of the gift is not large, but for workers in difficult circumstances like me, I feel very warm, as well as feel the concern and sharing of the Trade Union organization for union members and workers".
The joy and emotion of Ms. Hong and Ms. Lieu are also the common feelings of tens of thousands of union members and workers in difficult circumstances in Ninh Binh province when receiving attention and sharing from trade union organizations at all levels.
Mr. Nguyen Hai Long - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation said that during this Lunar New Year, trade union levels in the area mobilized resources to give thousands of gifts to union members and workers. In addition to cash, many gifts including necessities, bus tickets, housing support, and visits to families were also deployed synchronously.
In which, the Provincial Labor Federation presented 18,000 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, each worth 1 million VND, including 700,000 VND in cash and 300,000 VND in kind.
Especially, during the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, Party and State leaders, leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor directly went to Ninh Binh to visit, encourage and give thousands of gifts to union members and workers in industrial zones and clusters.
Taking care of Tet for union members and workers is not only an annual activity but also a responsibility, a long-term commitment of the Trade Union organization.
