Attending the program were leaders of the Party Committee of Vietnam Railways Corporation (VNR), VNR Trade Union; professional leaders, trade unions of Vinh regional railway units and a large number of workers from the units.
At La Khe Station, Nghe Tinh Railway Exploitation Branch organized the program "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" in 2026 to care for workers' lives, serve transportation and ensure security and safety during the 2026 Lunar New Year. In particular, the program focuses on caring for workers in difficult circumstances, production teams during Tet, with the motto "All union members and workers have Tet, celebrate Tet".
Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Tat Thuong - Deputy Secretary in charge of the Party Committee of Vietnam Railways Corporation sent deep greetings and thanks to employees of units who made efforts to excellently complete tasks in 2025. He also thanked employees for their contributions to the development of the Corporation, and shared about the production and business situation and development orientation of Vietnam Railways Corporation in 2026.
He emphasized that Vietnam Railways Corporation will continue to focus on improving the material and spiritual life of workers, especially during the Lunar New Year. In addition, he encouraged workers to continue to strive to excellently complete the targets and tasks, contributing to the development goals of the railway industry in the new year.
At the program, Vietnam Railways Corporation presented gifts to employees of affiliated units with a total amount of more than 357 million VND, supported 74 million VND for stations belonging to Nghe Tinh Railway Branch to organize Tet Sum vay for employees. Next, the Vietnam Railway Trade Union and professional departments presented more than 115 million VND to support visits and gifts for employees at 4 units in the La Khe station area.
Within the framework of the program, Nghe Tinh Railway Exploitation Branch organized the 2026 Khe Net Pass area workers' volleyball tournament, and also organized a year-end reunion party for union members and workers at La Khe Station and units in the Khe Net Pass railway area.
