On May 13, representatives of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) and all levels of the Trade Union of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province visited and encouraged workers who had work accidents in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.
In Suoi Nhum Quarter, Hac Dich Ward, Phu My City, Ms. Ho Thi Kim Ngan - Deputy Head of Legal Policy and Labor Relations Department of Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Representatives of the provincial Labor Confederation, Vung Tau City Labor Confederation and grassroots trade unions (grassroots grassroots) enterprises have visited and encouraged workers Nguyen Van Danh and his family.
Mr. Danh is a worker at Hiep Thanh Trading and Investment Company Limited. After the work accident that occurred at the end of 2023, Mr. Danh lost his right arm, with a disability rate of 54%. Mr. Danh's wife is also a worker, the family is raising 2 young children in secondary school and only 4 years old...
On behalf of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Ms. Ho Thi Kim Ngan sent her condolences and encouragement to Mr. Danh and his family, and at the same time hoped that family members would maintain their health and overcome difficulties together to rise up.
"I hope you will be steadfast in your efforts, overcome difficulties, and the Trade Union always represent and accompany the workers. Hopefully, in the coming time, the Board of Directors and the Trade Union will also create conditions for Mr. Danh to work and complete his tasks," said Ms. Ho Thi Kim Ngan.
At the same time, Ms. Ho Thi Kim Ngan also hopes that workers will increasingly be more aware of their production labor, so as not to encounter unwanted risks and cause unfortunate consequences.
On this occasion, the Provincial Federation of Labor, the Vung Tau City Federation of Labor and the enterprise's Trade Union also gave support gifts to encourage Mr. Danh and his family.
The representative of the enterprise's Trade Union said that there are more than 200 employees working in the company, and will try to implement it to ensure occupational safety and hygiene in the coming time.
Mr. Danh also sent his thanks for the attention and support of the Trade Union at all levels. With encouragement, Mr. Danh practiced driving and did activities with his left hand. Up to now, he has gradually become accustomed to many jobs, thereby being able to drive motorbikes to work, as well as working in the fortress department in the enterprise.
