According to the Hanoi Employment Service Center, in September 2025, policies on the labor market will continue to be effectively implemented in the city, contributing to supporting businesses and workers in the process of finding jobs.
The Hanoi Employment Service Center has provided job counseling, vocational training, unemployment insurance and labor law policies to 37,396 employees and 1,642 enterprises; introduced jobs to 3,643 people.
In addition, the Center has organized 21 job fairs (including 2 on-call job fairs), with 602 units participating in recruitment with a total of 11,358 recruitment and enrollment targets; 3,064 workers interviewed at job fairs, 1,092 workers were received and recruited at the session.
Regarding the work of supporting and resolving unemployment insurance policies in September 2025, the Hanoi Employment Service Center received 6,136 applications for unemployment insurance (a decrease of 675 cases compared to August 2025). Appraised and issued decisions to receive unemployment benefits for 5,404 cases (an increase of 164 records compared to August 2025) with the support amount of 201.1 billion VND. In addition, during the month, the Center resolved 8,700 monthly job registration applications, 54 workers had decisions to support vocational training with a support amount of 222.7 million VND.
Unemployment insurance policies play an important role in stabilizing the labor market and ensuring social security for workers through financial support measures, job counseling for unemployed workers and supporting training and skills improvement, thereby helping workers return to the market soon, Hanoi Employment Service Center commented.
