Mr. Tran Tien Dung becomes Secretary of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee

On October 16, continuing the third working day in a democratic, united and responsible atmosphere, delegates attending the 15th Congress of the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, elected the Provincial Party Executive Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, consisting of 52 comrades.

At the first meeting, the 15th Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee elected the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Provincial Party Committee Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Inspection Committee and Chairman of the Inspection Committee.

The results of the first meeting of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term elected the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee consisting of 14 members. Mr. Tran Tien Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, term XIV - was elected to hold the position of Secretary of the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee, term XV, 2025-2030.

The Deputy Secretaries include: Mr. Le Thanh Do - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term; Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, 2021-2026; Mr. Ha Quang Trung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, 2020-2025, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee; Mr. Mua A Vang - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee for the 2021-2026 term, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee for the 2020-2025 term, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee for the 2024-2029 term.

The first session of the Provincial Party Committee also elected the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee consisting of 11 members, Mr. Nguyen Sy Quan - Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, term 2020-2025 - to continue to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, term 2025-2030.

Speaking on receiving the assignment, Mr. Tran Tien Dung - Secretary of the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee - thanked the Congress for its trust and affirmed that this is an honor and a heavy responsibility assigned to cadres, party members and people of all ethnic groups in Dien Bien province.

On behalf of the 15th Provincial Party Committee, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Tien Dung promised before the Congress that he would strive, unite with the leadership to strive to fulfill the goals and tasks set by the Congress, which is to build Dien Bien province to develop green, smart and sustainably. At the same time, it has risen to become a fairly developed province in the region.

That is also the theme of the Congress, and at the same time the task assigned by Comrade To Lam - General Secretary of the Party Central Committee - for Dien Bien and the whole country to enter a new era, an era of the Vietnamese nation's rise.
