The "Happy Worker Family" model is being implemented at many businesses, contributing to caring for the material and spiritual lives and connecting workers' families.

Caring from life to family happiness

Representatives of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation said that in the past time, the "Happy Worker Family" model has been piloted at some grassroots trade unions and businesses in the area, aiming to care for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers.

Through the model, workers are equipped with knowledge and skills to build happy families, take care of children, balance work and life. Clubs and activity groups are also formed, creating space for union members to exchange, share, and support each other.

The implementation of the model also shows the companionship of the Trade Union organization and businesses in improving the material and spiritual life of workers; arousing the spirit of striving, innovation, contributing to building harmonious labor relations, sustainable business development and increasingly strong Trade Union organizations.

From the above goals, Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation has chosen to pilot in a number of units such as Alena Vietnam Footwear Co., Ltd. Trade Union, Aleron Vietnam Footwear Co., Ltd. Trade Union, Sunjade Vietnam Footwear Co., Ltd. Trade Union, Annora Vietnam Footwear Co., Ltd. Trade Union and Winner Vina Co., Ltd.

Ms. Trinh Thi Hoa - Vice President of Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation - assessed that the model has practical significance in honoring the good values of Vietnamese families, and at the same time shows the concern of the Trade Union organization for union members and workers.

The model contributes to supporting union members and workers to build prosperous, progressive, happy, and civilized families; taking care of spiritual life, strengthening cohesion and spreading the value of happy worker families at enterprises" - Ms. Hoa said.

Creating a cohesive space for workers

In the process of implementation, activities associated with the "Happy Worker Family" model have received the response of a large number of union members and workers.

Not only organizing entertainment activities, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation also coordinated with Thanh Hoa Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital to organize counseling, answering and providing knowledge about reproductive health care for workers. Children of union members and workers were also awarded pens for reading and learning English supported by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

Mr. Nguyen Van Tron - Chairman of the Trade Union of Annora Vietnam Footwear Co., Ltd. - said that the implementation of the "Happy Worker Family" model aims to improve knowledge and skills in health care for union members and workers; strengthen understanding and sharing among family members.

As one of the workers directly participating in the activities, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhung - a worker at Annora Vietnam Footwear Co., Ltd. - said that the launch of the model right at the workplace helps workers have more space to play, chat and increase cohesion.

“The activities bring interesting experiences not only to workers but also to workers' children. Union members are also consulted by experts and doctors on health care and childcare. Through this, we have more knowledge to take better care of our families and children” - Ms. Nhung shared.
