On the afternoon of September 16, Thanh Binh Commune Trade Union coordinated with Phuc Thinh Fashion Co., Ltd. to organize a Conference to announce the Decision to admit union members and establish the grassroots Trade Union of Phuc Thinh Fashion Co., Ltd.
At the conference, 82 workers voluntarily joined the Vietnam Trade Union. After that, the grassroots Trade Union of Phuc Thinh Fashion Co., Ltd. was established. The interim Executive Committee consists of 5 members, chaired by Mr. Phan Van Chien.
The establishment of grassroots trade unions helps workers have representative organizations right at their workplace. Through this, the Trade Union can care for and protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members, and at the same time contribute to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations.
The grassroots trade union determines to always be close to and listen to the thoughts and aspirations of union members; at the same time, deploy practical activities, associated with life, work and the emulation movement for labor production.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Do Van Nhan - representative of the Company's Board of Directors affirmed that the enterprise will coordinate and create favorable conditions for grassroots trade unions to operate effectively, perform well the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
After that, the company hopes that the Trade Union will become a positive bridge between workers and businesses, promptly grasp thoughts and aspirations, contribute to building a united and stable working environment, creating long-term attachment and companionship.
Speaking to receive the assignment, Mr. Phan Van Chien - Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union, on behalf of the Executive Committee, thanked the attention and facilitation of the Provincial Labor Federation, Thanh Binh Commune Trade Union and the Company's Board of Directors.
Mr. Phan Van Chien affirmed that the Executive Committee will strive to build the Trade Union organization to be increasingly strong, proactively grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members, deploy practical activities suitable to the business conditions; and at the same time mobilize union members to well comply with regulations, actively emulate in labor production, contributing to the stability and development of businesses.
According to Decision No. 382/QD-LDLD dated August 10, 2026 of the Standing Committee of the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation, grassroots trade unions have legal status, are allowed to use private seals, open accounts and perform tasks and powers according to regulations. The Executive Committee is responsible for organizing the first Congress within 12 months from the date the decision takes effect.
With 82 union members from the first day of establishment, the grassroots Trade Union of Phuc Thinh Fashion Co., Ltd. has a foundation to quickly stabilize the organization, promote the role of representing, caring for and accompanying workers; thereby contributing to building a united, harmonious, stable and progressive working environment.
