On January 12, the Phu Tho Provincial Labor Federation said that the unit had just coordinated with the Yen Thuy Commune Trade Union to organize a ceremony to announce decisions on trade union work, marking the birth of the grassroots Trade Union Branch of Xuan Khiem Group Joint Stock Company - Xuan Son Cement Factory.
Attending and congratulating the ceremony was Mr. Do Ngoc Anh - Vice Chairman of Phu Tho Provincial Labor Federation, along with representatives of the Trade Union Working Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation, leaders of Party committees and authorities of Yen Thuy and Yen Tri communes. On the business side, there were leaders of Xuan Khiem Group and the Board of Directors of Xuan Son Cement Factory.
At the announcement ceremony, 35 union members representing 126 union members out of a total of 200 workers and employees of the factory attended.
The establishment of grassroots trade unions is expected to promote the role of representing, caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights of workers, contributing to building harmonious and stable labor relations in enterprises.
