On August 13, at Huu Thanh Industrial Park, Task Force No. 9 - Tay Ninh Provincial Labor Federation attended the Congress to establish the grassroots Trade Union of Suntone Industry Vietnam Co., Ltd. with 377 union members. The Congress was attended by Ms. Pham Thi Quyen - Standing Vice President of Tay Ninh Provincial Labor Federation.
At the Congress, with a spirit of democracy and responsibility, delegates elected the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union consisting of 7 members. Mr. Ngo Thanh Lap was trusted to be elected to hold the position of Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union.
The establishment of a Trade Union organization at enterprises is identified as an important step forward in the work of gathering workers. This is also the foundation for the Trade Union to better perform its role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers. At the same time, the Trade Union organization will accompany businesses to build harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations.
Speaking at the Congress, Ms. Pham Thi Quyen - Standing Vice President of the Tay Ninh Provincial Labor Federation requested the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union to quickly stabilize the organization, innovate operating methods and be close to the grassroots level. The focus is to grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members; proactively coordinate with businesses to take care of life and ensure the rights of workers.
From 377 initial union members, the grassroots Trade Union of Suntone Industry Vietnam Co., Ltd. is expected to become a practical bridge between workers and businesses, contributing to building an increasingly strong Trade Union organization and contributing to the sustainable development of the business.
