With 441 successfully attracted projects, reaching a total registered capital of about 19.4 billion USD, Dung Quat Economic Zone currently has 350 projects operating, creating jobs for nearly 81,700 full-time workers and about 20,000 construction workers.
According to forecasts by the Management Board of Dung Quat Economic Zone and Quang Ngai Industrial Parks, businesses here have a new recruitment demand of up to 49.741 job positions. In which, VSIP II Quang Ngai Industrial Park alone needs over 22,500 workers.

The establishment of grassroots trade unions not only helps establish harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations but also directly creates tools to protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.
In the coming period, the Quang Ngai Provincial Labor Federation will promote propaganda and mobilization to establish grassroots trade unions at FDI enterprises and newly operating private enterprises in VSIP Industrial Park, Binh Hoa - Binh Phuoc and Dung Quat Economic Zone.
Strive for 100% of eligible enterprises in Economic Zones and Industrial Parks to establish grassroots trade unions to represent and care for workers. At the same time, the Trade Union organization innovates the content of operations, takes workers as the center, participates with businesses in building salary scales, negotiating collective labor agreements with many clauses that are more beneficial to workers.
Trade union members and workers are given conditions to study for life, improve their skills, switch from manual labor to smart operating labor, master new technologies such as AI, automation, and digital control. Improving skills directly helps workers increase labor productivity, thereby increasing income and improving the quality of life.
