The Steering Committee for establishing the grassroots Trade Union coordinated with the Tay Ninh Provincial Labor Federation to organize the Congress to establish the grassroots Trade Union of TH New Material Co., Ltd. (Vietnam).
Attending the congress were Mr. Nguyen Trong Danh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation, Deputy Head of the Trade Union of Industrial Parks of Tay Ninh province, along with representatives of business leaders and all trade union members.
TH New Material Co., Ltd. (Vietnam) is a 100% Singapore-invested enterprise, operating in the field of faux hair production, located on N15 street, Phuoc Dong Industrial Park, Gia Loc ward, Tay Ninh province. The enterprise officially went into operation from September 2026 and currently has 99 employees.
Clearly recognizing the role of the Trade Union organization in representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers, and at the same time contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in enterprises, the Steering Committee for establishing grassroots Trade Unions has actively propagated and mobilized workers to learn about the functions, tasks and rights when joining the Trade Union organization.
By the time of organizing the congress, 99/99 employees of the company had voluntarily written applications to join the Vietnam Trade Union, expressing their consensus and trust in the Trade Union organization and unifiedly establishing grassroots trade unions according to the provisions of the Trade Union Law and the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union.
The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the first grassroots Trade Union and unanimously agreed that Ms. Dang Thi Ngoc Sen will hold the position of Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union of TH New Material Co., Ltd. (Vietnam). The Congress also elected the Inspection Committee of the grassroots Trade Union consisting of 3 members.
The establishment of the grassroots trade union of TH New Material Co., Ltd. (Vietnam) marks an important step in the development of union members and the establishment of grassroots trade unions at foreign-invested enterprises in the province. This will be a bridge between workers and businesses, contributing to caring for the lives and protecting the legitimate rights of union members and workers, while building harmonious and stable labor relations, creating motivation for businesses to develop sustainably.
