At Zhiyi Zinc Industry Co., Ltd. (Vietnam), the Steering Committee for establishing the grassroots Trade Union coordinated with the Tay Ninh Provincial Labor Federation to organize the Congress to establish the company's grassroots Trade Union.
Attending the congress were Mr. Nguyen Trong Danh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Tay Ninh Provincial Labor Federation, Deputy Head of the Provincial Industrial Zones Trade Union, along with representatives of business leaders and all workers participating in the trade union.
Zhiyi Zinc Industry Co., Ltd. (Vietnam) is a 100% Thai-invested enterprise, operating in the field of color metal production, located on N10 street, Phuoc Dong Industrial Park, Hung Thuan ward, Tay Ninh province. The enterprise officially went into operation from January 2026 and currently has 56 employees working.
According to the report at the congress, realizing the role and position of the Trade Union organization in representing, caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers; at the same time, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in enterprises, the Steering Committee for the establishment of grassroots Trade Unions has actively propagated and mobilized workers to learn about the Trade Union Law, the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union as well as the rights when participating in trade union organizations.
As a result, 56/56 employees of the company voluntarily applied to join the Vietnam Trade Union. Employees all expressed high consensus in establishing trade union organizations at enterprises, in order to create an environment of solidarity and mutual support in labor, production and life.
At the congress, representatives of the collective of workers announced the establishment of the grassroots Trade Union of Zhiyi Zinc Industry Co., Ltd. (Vietnam) with 56 trade union members. At the same time, they committed to well implementing the rights and responsibilities of union members according to the provisions of the Trade Union Law, the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union and the directions of the superior trade union organization.
The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union for the 2026-2030 term, including 3 members. As a result, Mr. Nguyen Vu Linh was trusted to be elected to hold the position of Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union of Zhiyi Zinc Industry Co., Ltd. (Vietnam),
Representatives of workers also expressed their desire to continue to receive the attention, guidance, and support of the Tay Ninh Provincial Labor Federation so that grassroots trade unions can soon stabilize their organization, go into effective operation, and perform well the function of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
