Implementing the Labor Law, Trade Union Law and Vietnam Trade Union Charter, in the past time, Le Thanh Nghi Ward Trade Union has proactively coordinated to propagate and mobilize workers to participate in the Trade Union organization. As a result, 36 workers voluntarily wrote applications to join, meeting the conditions to establish grassroots Trade Unions according to regulations.
At the launching ceremony of the grassroots Trade Union of Sen Tim Joint Stock Company, leaders of Le Thanh Nghi Ward Trade Union announced the decisions of the City Labor Federation on admitting union members, establishing grassroots Trade Unions and appointing the Executive Committee and Provisional Trade Union Inspection Committee. The Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union, consisting of 3 comrades, officially launched and received the task.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngan - Chairwoman of Le Thanh Nghi Ward Trade Union emphasized that grassroots trade unions need to quickly build specific and practical regulations and operating programs; focus on caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.
