On June 7, at the online bridge point of Thong Nhat Coal Company, Quang Ninh province, about 300 workers from companies and units under Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited (TKV) in Cam Pha and Ha Long regions participated in the program to launch the emulation movement "Good labor, high productivity, good income" for the period 2026 - 2031 launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

At the event, the TKV Trade Union announced the decision and awarded the Creative Labor Certificate of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to 17 individuals; summarized the activities of Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026.

During Workers' Month, leaders of the Group and the TKV Trade Union visited and presented gifts to 145 groups, teams, construction sites, and workshops; and rewarded 670 excellent safety and hygiene workers.
Trade unions at all levels coordinated with professional departments to visit and give gifts to 815 groups, teams, workshops and 2,103 individuals, with a total budget of over 61 billion VND.

Units throughout the Group organized 118 dialogues with more than 11,000 workers participating, resolving 525 opinions and recommendations.
Supporting the construction and repair of 108 "Trade Union Shelter" houses and providing advice on buying social housing for nearly 3,000 workers in Quang Ninh.
At the program, the TKV Trade Union launched a peak emulation month to implement occupational safety and health work in July 2026, associated with production, business and health care tasks for workers.

Responding to the emulation movement of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and launching the peak emulation month of the TKV Trade Union, Mr. Le Thanh Xuan - Chairman of the TKV Trade Union - emphasized that the peak month is a time for trade union levels throughout the Group to promote the spirit of responsibility, the spirit of labor and production emulation; strive to complete and exceed production and business targets, improve labor productivity and product quality.
Emulation must be closely linked to safety. Trade union levels need to continue to proactively coordinate with professional departments to strengthen inspection and supervision of occupational safety and health; focus on locations and production areas that are difficult and potentially unsafe, promptly identify risks and have early and remote prevention solutions.
Units continue to deploy practical activities to care for and protect workers' health in hot and extreme weather conditions; promote initiative movements, technical improvements, and improvement of working conditions and environments, so that each production shift not only achieves higher productivity but is also safer and more efficient.

On this occasion, the TKV Trade Union organized commendations for collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in Workers' Month 2026; awarded the title "Creative Miner" in 2025; and commended collectives and individuals who achieved results in the online contest to learn about the 30-year history of the TKV Trade Union and the 90-year tradition of miners in the Mining Region - Tradition of the Coal Industry.
The TKV Trade Union also organized a ceremony to attach a plaque to the project to celebrate the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress and the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the TKV Trade Union for the Thong Nhat Coal Company's passenger cable winch system.
