On the morning of January 10, the 11th People's Council of Binh Thuan province held its 30th session (special session) to pass many important resolutions. Delegates voted to pass the resolution on supporting the Lunar New Year 2025.
According to the report of the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province, the support for the Lunar New Year 2025 is for cadres, civil servants, state employees, workers; cadres and soldiers of the armed forces; cadres of the People's Committees of communes, wards and towns and policy beneficiaries in the province. Supporting, visiting and giving gifts to the above subjects during the Lunar New Year is a regular activity, demonstrating the care for the material and spiritual life of the people.
The support level is 2,000,000 VND/subject/meal, the total estimated support budget is 229.584 billion VND. Of which, it is expected to support 101,931 subjects mentioned above with a budget of 203.8 billion VND. Each subject receiving support is specified in detail in the submission. In addition, the support for worshiping martyrs and worshiping deceased Vietnamese Heroic Mothers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year At Ty 2025 is expected to be 25.7 billion VND.
The funding source is from the regular expenditure budget of the agency or unit; the revenue from the business, other legal financial sources of the unit and the additional provincial budget allocated to agencies, units and localities.
At the meeting, the Resolution on supporting the Lunar New Year 2025 was passed.
