According to local residents, at around 6:20 p.m. on January 10, a fire broke out at a house in lane 132 Au Co, Tu Lien ward, Tay Ho district, Hanoi.
Residents said they smelled a burning smell and then flames broke out from a house, quickly spreading to the second floor. Although residents in the area used fire extinguishers, it was very difficult to control the fire.
Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force immediately deployed forces and vehicles to the scene to put out the fire. According to local residents, the initial cause was determined to be an electrical short circuit.
Updated at 7:10 p.m., the fire is basically under control. Fortunately, the fire did not cause any human casualties.
Authorities are urgently taking measures to completely extinguish the fire and investigate the cause.
