Worker intellectualization is a transformation process that makes workers gradually improve their skills, craftsmanship and intellectual creativity to meet the increasing demands of the economy as well as the scientific and technological revolution.
With its role and responsibility, the Vietnam Trade Union organization always cares and creates conditions for workers to improve their skills and especially propagates to them to be aware of learning and constantly contributing.
For example, in Hanoi, Skilled Workers Contests organized every 2 years by the People's Committee and the Hanoi Labor Federation have become a driving force and a factor to encourage the movement of vocational training, craft training, and honoring skilled workers and creative workers. In particular, the Contest contributes to improving the quality of human resources, increasing labor productivity, and the competitiveness of the Capital and the nation in the integration process.
In addition, the City Labor Federation also organizes commendation for initiatives and creativity among workers, civil servants, and laborers in the Capital. This is one of the specific activities to concretize the process of gradually improving the skills and creativity of workers.
Through the widespread deployment of the creative initiative movement, the Trade Union organization has ignited and spread the spirit of innovation and creativity in labor and production; promoted the movement "Good Labor - Creative Labor" associated with digital transformation, green transformation and the development of a high-quality labor force in the spirit of the 13th Party Congress Resolution and Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation.
As one of 100 workers to receive the title "Initiative in Capital Workers and Employees" in 2025, Mr. Ha Xuan Qui Anh - Stanley Vietnam Electricity Co., Ltd. - expressed his desire to have initiatives and innovations to bring benefits to businesses because when businesses stabilize and develop, the lives of workers will certainly be guaranteed and improved. Promoting the role of subjects in promoting workers' intellectualization
According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Manh Hung - Rector of Trade Union University, in the process of transformation to gradually improve workers' skills and craftsmanship, the State needs to promote the application and research of science and technology, innovation, and improve technology levels in production and business to catch up with new technology trends; organize a labor market information system; support businesses in ensuring production and business, and maintaining jobs for workers.
In addition, it is also necessary to increase the budget for education, training, higher education and vocational training; ensure investment in science and technology development that is accurate, correct, and sufficient in both quantity and quality. Especially have policies to select and train workers suitable to the requirements of technology use; have guidelines and policies to create new jobs in existing or new industries for startups, creating an environment to attract new trained labor force.
The Government and relevant departments need to have appropriate plans to orient and improve the quality of domestic labor resources, support workers in vocational training, expand career opportunities in the current digital age, and at the same time create a foundation and momentum for the development of the working class.

On the business side, there needs to be policies for selecting, recruiting, using, and treating employees. Employees and businesses have a close link in interests. Quality and constantly developing labor resources are the core factors for the development of businesses. Therefore, along with the State, businesses must also participate in developing the labor force, fostering and improving skills for employees. Building a linkage model of School - Scientist - Enterprise in recruiting, training, and using human resources; proactively participating in building training programs, participating in training, and training learners, especially practicing skills training.
In addition, it is necessary to improve the mechanism for investment from businesses and investors to strengthen resources for education, especially higher education and vocational training. Linking training both ensures the efficiency of human resources and helps businesses maintain production and business activities, and does social work. Investors and businesses support and train technical expertise and improve skills for workers, taking harmony of interests as a driving force for growth and development.
In this process, each worker needs to raise awareness of their position, role, and importance in the overall development of the enterprise as well as the whole society.
