Mr. Pham Van Thiet - a warehouse worker of the company - said that this year's bonus level is equivalent to 2025, so workers are not too surprised. However, he and many colleagues still feel happy because this is a fairly competitive bonus level compared to many businesses in the region.
Around here, many businesses only reward from 100,000-200,000 VND on holidays, so in my opinion, the company's bonus level is quite practical, showing respect for employees," Mr. Thiet shared.
Both Mr. Thiet and his wife are working at the company, so this holiday, the family received a total of 400,000 VND in bonuses. He plans to add about 1 million VND to take the family to some tourist destinations near his house, enjoying the holiday with loved ones.
Meanwhile, at ATU 2 Import-Export Garment Joint Stock Company (Ninh Binh), the National Day bonus is divided according to working hours.
Employees working for less than 3 months are rewarded 200,000 VND, while those working for more than 3 months receive a bonus of 500,000 VND.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh - a cargo checking worker at the company - said that the bonus of 500,000 VND is considered relatively high compared to the general level in the area.
This is not only the company's gratitude but also a meaningful material gift, helping employees have more conditions to prepare for the holiday," Ms. Ngoc Anh said.
During the holidays, she will spend about a day meeting and hanging out with friends near her house. The total cost for activities during the holidays is estimated by her at about 1 million VND.
Notably, at MAXPORT Limited Co., Ltd. (Ninh Binh), the 2026 National Day bonus is also calculated according to working hours but at a fairly high level, making many workers excited.
Accordingly, employees working for less than 1 week are rewarded 500,000 VND; working for 1 week or more is rewarded 1 million VND. In particular, those working for 2 weeks or more are rewarded 2 million VND/person.
Ms. Tran Thi Trang - a long-time worker at the company - said that the bonus level for the 2/9 holiday this year has not changed compared to last year. However, this is still one of the high bonus levels in the region, so workers feel happy and satisfied.
With the 2 million VND bonus, Ms. Trang plans to spend time taking her family to her mother's hometown to have fun, organize meals and meet relatives. After that, the whole family will go to the beach and some amusement parks to relax during the holiday.
According to Ms. Trang, because the entertainment venues are not too far away and have reasonable costs, this bonus money can contribute to covering the activities of the whole family.
Happiness is being with loved ones, not necessarily going anywhere far or to luxurious, expensive places," Ms. Trang shared.
The fact that many businesses maintain the same bonus level as last year shows that this is still a spiritual encouragement and practical support for workers during National Day.
Although the value of each place is different, from a few hundred thousand VND to 2 million VND, the holiday bonus still contributes to helping workers have more spending conditions, reunite with their families and enjoy holidays with loved ones.
