On August 30, recorded at some shopping centers in Ho Chi Minh City such as Van Hanh Mall, Vincom Center Dong Khoi, Takashimaya... right from the beginning of noon, the number of people and vehicles entering and leaving was quite large. Fashion areas, household appliances, supermarkets, cinemas and children's play areas attracted many customers.

In the culinary area, many restaurants and eateries are always fully booked during peak hours. Some families choose to go to shopping centers to eat, shop and have children play instead of having to travel to many different locations.
Ms. Tran Ngoc Anh (living in Hanh Thong ward), said that her family chose to go to the shopping center during the holidays to combine many activities.
On normal days, my husband and I are quite busy, so we have little time to take our children out to play. During holidays, we have many days off, the whole family takes advantage of going out to eat, watch movies and then buy some necessary items. Going to the shopping center, everything is available, and it's cool, so it's quite convenient" - Ms. Ngoc Anh shared.

Not only families, many young people also choose shopping centers as meeting points during the holidays. Coffee areas, restaurants, cinemas and entertainment spaces become more crowded than usual.

Mr. Minh Quan - residing in Tan Son Nhat ward, said that he had arranged to meet a group of friends to go to the movies and eat on holidays. "On holidays, the city has many places to go, but shopping centers are still a familiar choice because you can stay all afternoon, without worrying about sun or rain. This time there are also quite a few promotions, so if I find a suitable item, I will buy it" - Mr. Quan said.
According to records, to welcome the increased number of customers during the holidays, many shopping centers decorate spaces according to the theme of National Day, organize entertainment activities and launch many preferential programs. Fashion, cosmetics, and household appliance brands also hang discount signs, attracting consumers.

This September 2nd holiday, the demand not only focuses on shopping but also expands to experiential activities, dining and entertainment. Integrating many types of services in the same space helps shopping centers become destinations chosen by many people during the holidays.
