On December 29th, the Department of Home Affairs of Quang Tri province said that, through reviewing and summarizing reports from units, the situation of salaries, bonuses and labor relations in enterprises in the province in 2025 is basically stable, with no wage arrears arising, but the 2026 Tet bonus level between enterprises is still significantly different.
For the 2026 New Year bonus, the average bonus is expected to reach 1.55 million VND/person. The highest level is up to 37.5 million VND, while the lowest is only 100,000 VND. Compared to 2024 of the two old provinces of Quang Binh and Quang Tri, the highest bonus decreased by 4.4 million VND, the lowest level remains unchanged.
Notably, at the time of reporting, there were still some businesses that had not developed Tet bonus plans, mainly belonging to the private business sector.
For the 2026 Binh Ngo Lunar New Year, the average bonus is expected to reach 5.64 million VND/person. The highest level recorded is 170 million VND, the lowest is 200,000 VND. Compared to 2024 of the two old provinces, the highest bonus increased by 50.2 million VND, while the lowest level remained unchanged.
According to statistics, private enterprises continue to be the area with the widest Tet bonus range, reflecting a clear differentiation in production and business efficiency and labor preferential policies.
Also according to the Department of Home Affairs of Quang Tri province, at the time of summarizing the report, the whole province had not recorded any businesses owing wages to employees; labor relations in 2025 were generally stable, with no collective labor disputes or strikes occurring.
