According to the trend in recent years, businesses in the area generally do not pay attention to paying Lunar New Year bonuses to employees; the bonus level at businesses that pay bonuses mainly ranges from 300,000 VND to 3,500,000 VND/person.
Many foreign-invested enterprises do not implement New Year's Day bonuses, focusing resources on spending Lunar New Year bonuses for employees.
Data on expected New Year's Day bonuses at businesses in the city are as follows: Type of one-member limited liability company with 100% state-owned charter capital, average bonus level of employees at businesses with expected bonuses: 670,000 VND; lowest individual bonus level: 100,000 VND; highest individual bonus level: 12,000,000 VND (Lai Vu Industrial Park One-Member Limited Liability Company).
Type of company with shares, state-controlled capital contribution, average bonus level of employees at enterprises with expected bonus of 1,020,000 VND. Lowest individual bonus: 300,000 VND. Highest individual bonus: 5,000,000 VND (Hai Phong Water Supply Joint Stock Company).
Type of private enterprise, the average bonus level of employees at enterprises is expected to be 990,000 VND. The lowest individual bonus is 50,000 VND. The highest individual bonus is: 4,000,000 VND (Hai Duong Urban Environment Joint Stock Company).
Type of foreign-invested enterprise: average bonus level of employees at enterprises with expected bonuses: 1,280,000 VND. Lowest individual bonus 50,000 VND. Highest individual bonus 137,000,000 VND (Deep C Management Co., Ltd.).
As of the time of reporting, Deep C Management Co., Ltd. (Ngo Quyen ward) is the enterprise with the highest expected New Year bonus in 2026 of 137,000,000 VND. Among the types of enterprises, the private business sector is recorded to have an average New Year bonus increase of about 39% compared to the previous year.
