On July 2, the Quang Ngai Provincial Federation of Labor announced that the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor has just issued Decision No. 687/QD-LDLDD on the establishment of the Binh Son Commune Trade Union, under the new Quang Ngai Provincial Federation of Labor from July 1, 2025.
Binh Son Commune Trade Union manages 27 grassroots trade unions and over 1,800 union members; has legal status, is registered and uses stamps; is equipped with facilities and working means according to regulations; is organized and operates according to the Trade Union Law, the Charter of Vietnam Trade Union and other relevant regulations.
The Provincial Federation of Labor also issued a decision to appoint the Executive Committee of the Binh Son Commune Trade Union, consisting of 8 people. The Standing Committee consists of 3 people, appointing Ms. Nguyen Thi My Trang, Vice President of the Binh Son District Labor Federation (old) as President of the Binh Son Commune Labor Union for the 2025-2028 term.
It is known that the new Quang Ngai province has 3 localities qualified to establish a Trade Union organization: Cam Thanh ward, Nghia Lo ward and Binh Son commune. This is a new operating model, established according to the instructions of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and concluded according to the policy of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee.
In the coming time, the Provincial Federation of Labor will continue to coordinate with the Party Committees of Cam Thanh and Nghia Lo wards to establish a Trade Union organization to facilitate the monitoring and management of union members as well as the organization of trade union activities at the grassroots level.
