Mr. Hoang Van Uy - currently working at Canon Vietnam Co., Ltd. - is one of the people who received the Creative Labor Certificate from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in mid-June.
Mr. Uy works in the department related to stamping machines. In which the second stage has up to 6 - 7 stamping steps and each machine needs a worker to operate. From daily observation and with a spirit of learning, he has an initiative and creativity to cut down on stages in production. Before applying this initiative, this stage still consumed quite a lot of resources.
With the search and application of technology, Mr. Hoang Van Uy has found a way to combine the stages into one and only this stage can be produced. From there, reducing costs, bringing great profits and reducing unnecessary stages as before... Speaking more specifically, Mr. Uy's initiative and creativity have reduced many unnecessary stages, saved costs, reduced resources and brought greater economic efficiency to businesses.
Talking to us, Mr. Hoang Van Uy said that to have these initiatives and innovations, the company has created conditions and recognized from the very small ideas of each employee. In particular, the company also creates conditions to develop the ideas of employees into initiatives. That is the basis for each worker of the company to promote the spirit of creativity. "The company has created very favorable conditions and always receives contributions and ideas from employees. Any small detail, small contribution or small idea is recognized and allowed to develop by the Company. That is the motivation for us to constantly observe our daily work to detect shortcomings as well as constantly learn to improve the limitations and shortcomings we have found ourselves" - Mr. Uy said.
With the award of the Creative Labor Certificate from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, he proudly said: "That initiative is not only mine personally but also the result of the work of the whole collective. We always believe in working together, accompanying each other. I as well as my colleagues are always grateful for the concern of Party and State leaders, businesses as well as the Trade Union organization.
Here, it can be seen that the respect for the creative spirit of employees of the enterprise is a very large basis to encourage and inspire learning in each person. The reception and creation of conditions for all ideas of employees has been, is and will help businesses have more and more improvements in the production process, thereby increasing labor productivity.
With the care and facilitation of the company and trade union organization, there are many people who are always aware of improving their qualifications, have initiatives, and are creative like Mr. Hoang Van Uy.
One of them is Ms. Nguyen Thi Dung (Assembly Department) - a typical example in the creative labor movement with a series of initiatives bringing economic value of tens of billions of VND, contributing to improving productivity, optimizing processes and spreading the spirit of innovation in businesses.
In which, the initiative "Saving costs and increasing employee productivity" chaired by her helped save more than 30.9 billion VND, cut more than 300 manual laborers, increase production efficiency and is applied at all 3 factories of Canon Vietnam.
She also has many effective initiatives such as: "Innovating the training area with a smart management system" helping to reduce time, improve training quality, making a profit of more than 2.6 billion VND; "Improving the production capacity of the new generation machine" saving more than 1 million USD, reducing 50% of test personnel; "Improving the delivery method" helping to save more than 1 billion VND/year.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Dung said: "To achieve those results, I am really grateful to the "Capital Innovation and Creativity" movement and the trade union organization for always accompanying and encouraging workers to dare to think and dare to do.
