Setting a goal to continue to exceed production plans
From May 4th, the entire Group launched the Action Month for Occupational Safety and Health and Workers' Month 2026 right from the beginning of each production shift. The launching content focuses on raising awareness of complying with processes and technical regulations, ensuring labor safety and promoting the labor production emulation movement, completing the May plan and annual targets.
At Vang Danh Coal Joint Stock Company - one of the large-scale underground coal mining units of TKV, Workers' Month is implemented with many specific activities, in which the focus is on launching emulation for safe and efficient labor production.
The Company's Exploitation Workshop 2 currently has 123 officials, workers, and laborers, and is a ZRY platform mining unit, maintaining high productivity in the Group for many consecutive years.
In 2025, the workshop completed and exceeded 10% of the production plan, with an output of over 236,000 tons of raw coal. In 2026, the unit sets a target to continue to exceed the plan, with an expected output of over 250,000 tons.
Mr. Phan Minh Thuy - Workshop Manager of Exploitation Workshop 2 - shared that in response to Workers' Month, the collective of workers in the workshop is determined to promote the spirit of solidarity, promote initiatives and improvements, organize safe and efficient production, maintain and strive to exceed output according to plan, contributing to compensating for output for units still facing difficulties in the company.
Vang Danh Coal Joint Stock Company currently has 5,626 officials, workers, and laborers. In 2026, the company sets a target to produce 3.9 million tons of raw coal and newly dig 41,530 meters of furnaces.
In the first 4 months of 2026, the company achieved an output of 1.43 million tons of raw coal, newly dug 12,947 meters of mines. The average income of workers reached 22.7 million VND/person/month, of which miners alone reached over 28 million VND/person/month.
Improving welfare for workers
TKV Trade Union has implemented many synchronous activities in response to Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health. Inspection teams are deployed to detect unsafe risks and prevent workplace accidents. Units organize skilled worker contests, care for welfare such as: Trade Union meals, visiting workers in difficult circumstances, workplace accidents and supporting the construction and repair of Trade Union Shelters.
Cultural and sports activities at the worker collective area are also organized to improve the spiritual life of workers. On this occasion, trade union levels in the Group also promoted the work of developing union members.
According to the plan, from May, the TKV Trade Union will organize the "Miner Welfare" program with weekend resort activities for about 3,000 workers who are cases of work accidents, occupational diseases, and reduced working capacity.
Mr. Pham Hong Hanh - Vice Chairman of TKV Trade Union - said that during Workers' Month, TKV Trade Union focuses on directing the launch of a labor production emulation movement associated with safety and improving income for workers, and at the same time organizing dialogues at the workplace to listen to the thoughts and aspirations of workers.
TKV Trade Union will also organize visits and give gifts directly to 140 production teams, including 118 excellent collectives and 22 collectives facing difficulties; visit and give gifts to 670 typical safety and hygiene workers, representing about 10% of the safety and hygiene workers in the entire Group.
