TKV meets 116 typical advanced female employees

Quang Ninh - To celebrate the 116th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8th), this afternoon (March 6th), in Bai Chay, TKV organized a meeting with typical advanced female workers and employees.

Attending the conference were Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) Nguyen Xuan Hung, leaders of Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited (TKV), Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited (TKV) and 116 female workers, civil servants, and laborers of units directly under TKV.

According to the TKV Trade Union, the entire TKV Group currently has 111 mass women's committees (including 46 grassroots women's committees belonging to 04 upper-level grassroots trade unions); 719 women's groups; the total number of female workers is 18,338/93,248 people, accounting for 19.6% of the total number of union members.

In 2025, female workers and employees throughout the Group had 577 initiatives, technical improvements, and 87 projects registered and undertaken by female workers and employees, contributing to improving labor productivity and production and business efficiency of units.

Typical are female CNVCLĐ at units: Cua Ong Coal Selection Company, Mao Khe Mechanical, Materials, Nam Mau Coal with many initiatives and technical improvements being effectively applied.

In addition, female workers and employees at units such as: Khe Cham Coal Company, Ha Long, Cam Pha Port Logistics are typical in proactively registering and undertaking projects and tasks suitable to their working positions, contributing to improving the production and business efficiency of the unit.

The work of building, consolidating and improving the quality of operation of the women's work department and the Women's Trade Union Committees at all levels continues to be concerned and identified by the Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited as an important factor contributing to improving the effectiveness of mobilizing female workers and employees throughout the Group.

The work of training and fostering female officials and officials working in women's affairs is focused on implementation. TKV Trade Union and trade unions of units have guided the implementation of gender equality work in 2025, creating conditions for female officials to participate in training classes, fostering to improve professional qualifications, nghiệp vụ and working skills.

The rate of women participating in leading trade unions at all levels has gradually been raised. Currently, female members of the Executive Committee of TKV Trade Union account for 11.1%; female members of the Standing Committee of TKV Trade Union account for 11.1%; female Chairpersons of grassroots trade unions directly under them account for 17%.

In 2025, the entire Group had 185 female party members admitted out of a total of 981 new party members (accounting for 18.8%); 29 women were promoted and appointed to leadership and management positions from deputy head of department, deputy manager or higher; 1,198 female workers and employees were promoted, 1,039 women were promoted.
