On May 30, the Trade Union of DIC Group (HCMC) coordinated with the Youth Union and businesses to commend outstanding and excellent students of the 2025-2026 school year.
In which, the Organizing Committee commended 123 students who are children of union members and workers who achieved excellent results in their studies such as: winning prizes or medals in international, national, and provincial-level excellent student exams; achieving high achievements in talent and sports exams; excellent achievements in the 2025-2026 school year... Thereby, recognizing the proud learning efforts of students; creating motivation and spreading the spirit of studiousness in the entire DIC family.
On this occasion, the unit also coordinated with the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Youth Cultural House to organize the "Children's Day" program with the theme "Learning discipline - Training bravery" for 50 students who are children of union members and workers working at enterprises, taking place in 2 days, May 30 and 31.
Students will visit the Fisheries Resources Surveillance Team No. 2 to learn and experience patrol and rescue work; participate in traditional education activities, fostering love for the homeland and sea and islands of the Fatherland.
The children also participated in fire prevention and fighting topics at the Fire and Rescue Team of Area 24. In which, they were propagated to recognize common fire and explosion causes; guided on practicing some skills in using fire extinguishers, escaping... and some simulated situations. At the same time, participated in campfire activities; forest trekking, guided on basic forest walking skills; handling situations when lost, keeping calm and searching for support...
According to the Organizing Committee, with many attractive and interesting activities in the program, it will help students both have fun during the summer and learn practical life skills. Thereby, bringing students useful lessons on discipline, bravery, sense of responsibility and self-protection skills through lively practical experience activities.
