The conference was attended by Mr. Pham Tat Thang - Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Ms. Thai Thu Xuong - Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Mr. Hoang Cong Thuy - Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Mr. Khuat Viet Dung - Vice President of the Vietnam Veterans Association; and representatives of leaders of socio-political organizations; Lien minh organizations in the Emulation Bloc.
At the conference, delegates listened to a summary report on emulation and reward work in 2024 and the direction and tasks for 2025 of the Emulation Bloc of socio-political organizations and Lien minh organizations.
Accordingly, in 2024, the emulation and reward movement will be rewarded by Party committees and leaders of member organizations in the Emulation Bloc including: Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Central Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association, Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association, Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations, Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations and Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations to pay attention to leading and directing timely, comprehensive, synchronous, focused and key implementation. Emulation and reward movements are taking place vigorously and widely.
In particular, emulation movements launched by the Prime Minister and campaigns launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front are closely linked to promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style, and movements and campaigns of member organizations truly create great motivation, directly contributing to improving the quality of activities, promoting the socio-economic development tasks of the country.
Propaganda work has many innovations in content and methods. Emulation, reward, construction and honor of advanced models are carried out closely, promptly and effectively. Thereby, it has contributed to encouraging and motivating cadres, soldiers, civil servants, public employees and workers to strive to fulfill their tasks well.
The reward work has had many efforts, gradually become more disciplined and implemented in accordance with the provisions of law. The commendation is carried out to ensure accuracy, timeliness, fairness, publicity, transparency and democracy.
The results of the Emulation Bloc of Socio-political Organizations and Lien minh Organizations in 2024 have directly contributed significantly to the successful completion of the tasks of each agency and unit. At the same time, it strengthens the solidarity and cohesion between members of the Emulation Bloc.
At the conference, delegates discussed and shared experiences in emulation and reward work and agreed on the contents, directions and tasks for 2025.
At the same time, an emulation treaty was signed in 2025. Accordingly, organizations in the Emulation Bloc are committed to promoting the tradition of patriotic emulation, regularly coordinating closely, and determined to successfully implement the set contents.
Also at the conference, delegates unanimously and voted to elect the Head of the Emulation Bloc of Socio-political Organizations and Lien minh Organizations in 2025, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and the Deputy Bloc, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
