On the afternoon of February 28, the Standing Committee of the Tra Vinh Provincial Federation of Labor held a conference to review 5 years of implementing Resolution 07/NQ-TLD dated January 15, 2020 of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and Plan 83/KH-LDLD dated February 3, 2021 of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor on innovation of emulation and reward work among employees and trade union activities.
Speaking at the conference, Ms. Tran Thi Kim Chung - President of the Tra Vinh Provincial Federation of Labor - praised and acknowledged many practical results, creating a vibrant atmosphere in production, work and study; the emulation movement has been gradually innovated in both content and form, arousing the positivity, proactiveness and creativity of union members and employees.

According to Ms. Chung, after 5 years of implementation, trade unions at all levels, union members, and workers have registered to implement 989 emulation projects and products, with a total investment value of 117 billion VND; there are 24,667 topics and initiatives, with a total value of billions of VND.
Many Emulation Flags, Certificates of Merit, Certificates of Merit, and Medals have been awarded and recognized by all levels to the workers, laborers, and union officials in Tra Vinh province.
The Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor expressed his hope that in the coming time, trade unions at all levels will continue to develop and affirm the core role of the good labor movement, creative labor, learning to improve qualifications in all aspects, meeting the requirements of industrialization and modernization of the country; improve the quality of thematic emulation movements to effectively carry out the important tasks of the trade union organization.

Timely review, amend and supplement regulations on rewards; strengthen the application of information technology, implement digital transformation in propaganda work on emulation and rewards; maintain stability and organize regular professional training for officials working on emulation and rewards, ensuring that the reward work is carried out promptly, accurately, transparently and publicly.
After the conference, the Provincial Federation of Labor launched a campaign for labor unions at all levels to register works, models, and emulation work to celebrate the Party Congresses at all levels that will take place in the coming time.
