Vietnam General Confederation of Labor appoints leaders of 7 vocational education institutions

On the afternoon of July 15, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor organized a conference to announce decisions to appoint leaders for 7 affiliated vocational education institutions.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor - congratulated the officials who have just been appointed to leadership positions at vocational education institutions directly under the General Confederation.

Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor proposed: In the new position, officials should focus on implementing 5 key tasks.

First, promote the spirit of responsibility, pioneering and exemplary nature of the head; maintain political bravery and moral qualities; constantly improve professional qualifications and management capacity to meet the requirements in the new period.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung especially reminded vocational education institutions to strictly comply with the provisions of law on vocational education, financial management, assets and related mechanisms.

Second, build a united and unified leadership collective; promote democracy, emphasize individual responsibility associated with collective responsibility; maintain discipline and order in management and administration; build a professional, transparent and effective working environment. "All officials, lecturers, and employees are members of a vocational education institution under the General Confederation, and need to be treated fairly, publicly, and transparently, ensuring full rights to build a strong and sustainable collective" - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor emphasized.

Third, focus on improving training quality; innovate programs, content, and teaching methods in a modern direction, associated with practice; strengthen the application of science and technology and digital transformation in management and training; and at the same time closely link schools with businesses and the needs of the labor market to improve the competitiveness and prestige of vocational education institutions.

Fourth, promote the effectiveness of the autonomy mechanism; proactively exploit, mobilize and effectively use resources to develop schools; pay attention to building a team of teachers and management staff with high professional qualifications and dedication to the profession; expand cooperation with businesses and training institutions at home and abroad to improve the quality of training and job opportunities for learners.

Fifth, focus on Party building, building a clean and strong Trade Union organization and mass organizations in schools; pay attention to caring for the material and spiritual life of cadres, teachers, and workers; create conditions for each person to promote their capacity, stick with the unit, contributing to building a healthy, humane and sustainable educational environment.

On behalf of the leaders of 7 vocational education institutions directly under the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor receiving decisions on personnel work, Mr. Nguyen Van Luong - Principal of Intermediate School of Technology - Tourism No. 10 - said that vocational education institutions will promote innovation in enrollment, improve training quality in the direction of linking with the needs of businesses and the labor market; Promote digital transformation, strengthen international cooperation, scientific research and brand building for each school as well as the vocational education system of the Trade Union organization...

At the conference, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor announced and awarded decisions to appoint leaders of 7 affiliated vocational education institutions, including:

Nghe An College of Economics - Technology No. 1: Appointing Mr. Ngo Si Thanh Tung as Principal.

Ha Tinh College of Technology: Appointing Mr. Nguyen Dinh Dai and Ms. Le Thi Hoai Nam as Vice Rectors.

Thai Nguyen Vocational Secondary School: Appointing Mr. Truong Van Bien as Principal.

Nam Dinh Technology Secondary School No. 8: Appointed Mr. Nguyen Chi Thuan as Principal; appointed Mr. Vo Tat The and Mr. Do Duc Tuyen as Vice Principals.

Intermediate School of Technology - Tourism No. 10: Appointed Mr. Nguyen Van Luong as Principal; appointed Mr. Ho Van Chieu, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh and Mr. Do Thanh Doan as Vice Principals.

Ninh Binh Trade Union Technical - Tourism Secondary School: Appointing Mr. Duong Manh Hien as Principal; appointing Mr. Ngo Thanh Binh as Vice Principal.

Hanoi Trade Union Professional and Vocational Secondary School: Appointing Mr. Phan Tuan Dung as Principal; appointing Mr. Duong Van Tien as Vice Principal.
