On July 15, a delegation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor led by Comrade Nguyen Anh Tuan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, National Assembly deputy as Head of the delegation visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and policy families to celebrate the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 – July 27, 2026).

Participating in the delegation were Comrade Phan Thi Thuy Linh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, City Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, Chairman of the Da Nang City Labor Federation, National Assembly deputies; Comrade Nguyen Phi Hung - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang city, National Assembly deputies.
The delegation visited Vietnamese Heroic Mothers including: Mother Phan Thi Cuu (Khanh Tho village, Chien Dan commune), Mother Nguyen Thi Lang (Truong My village, Chien Dan commune) and Mother Nguyen Thi Thanh (La Thap Dong village, Thu Bon commune).
At each family, Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Anh Tuan and the working delegation cordially inquired about the health and daily life of the Mothers; expressed deep gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of the Mothers and their families in the cause of national liberation and reunification.
Comrade Nguyen Anh Tuan affirmed that the Party, State and Trade Union organization always remember the merits of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and people with meritorious services to the revolution; and at the same time wished the Mothers good health, happy life, longevity, and continued to be role models and spiritual supports for their children and grandchildren to follow.

On this occasion, the working delegation presented meaningful gifts to show concern and gratitude to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, contributing to encouraging Mothers to continue living happily and healthily with their families and the community.
Within the framework of the program, at the Chien Dan Commune Party Committee headquarters, the working delegation met and presented gifts to 50 policy families in the commune, each gift including gifts and 2 million VND in cash.
Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Anh Tuan sent his sincere regards and expressed his deep gratitude to wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, relatives of martyrs and people with meritorious services to the revolution.
Today's gift is not of great material value, but contains the feelings and gratitude of the National Assembly deputies and the Trade Union organization to the family and generations of fathers and brothers who sacrificed blood and bones for the Fatherland," said comrade Nguyen Anh Tuan.
Comrade Nguyen Anh Tuan wished the families to continue to promote revolutionary traditions, educate the young generation about patriotism, dedication, and contribute to building an increasingly rich and civilized homeland.
