According to Ms. Hang, in mid-April 2025, she quit her job, Mai Linh Company at that time still owed more than 107 million VND in salary and had not paid social insurance for her from August 2023 to March 2025.

She sued the company in court and in September 2025, with the reason of financial difficulties, the company agreed from September 2025, to pay her from 10 million VND to 15 million VND per month and by May 2026 to pay out more than 107 million VND in salary.

However, after that, the company only paid my salary once and is currently owing 96 million VND in salary. As for the social insurance part, the company has not yet paid it," Ms. Hang said angrily.

Also being late for social insurance payment by businesses, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kieu Loan - formerly a worker at Vinh Thong Trading and Service Production Co., Ltd. (Vinh Thong Company) - said that she was also late for social insurance payment by the company. Therefore, when giving birth in March 2025, she was not paid hospital fees because the company had not fully paid social insurance and health insurance, and to date, even though her child is 15 months old, she has not received maternity benefits as prescribed.

Although very upset, we also don't know what to do anymore. I hope the company will soon pay enough social insurance to enjoy maternity benefits according to regulations, to have money to take care of children and take care of the family" - Ms. Loan expressed.
