On December 20, the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor announced that the Trade Union of the MAG Quang Tri Project has just successfully organized the 3rd Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
The MAG Quang Tri project currently has 564 employees and 6 foreign management experts. Of which, 563/564 workers have participated in the trade union organization, demonstrating the role, prestige and influence of the grassroots trade union in gathering and uniting workers.
Over the past term, the MAG Quang Tri Project Trade Union has issued and effectively implemented key policies and tasks; closely coordinated with project leaders to care for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers, contributing to stabilizing labor relations and completing the project's professional tasks well.
At the Congress, delegates discussed and agreed on the direction and tasks for the 2025 - 2030 term, with the goal of continuing to build a strong grassroots trade union; focusing on training skills and improving the effectiveness of trade union activities. The grassroots trade union strives for 100% of workers to participate in trade union organizations; maintain the classification of excellent grassroots trade unions, union members, and grassroots trade union groups; increase the rate of excellent union members and female union members achieving the title of "Good at public work, good at housework".
The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the MAG Quang Tri Project Trade Union, term III, 2025 - 2030, consisting of 9 members. Ms. Tran Thi Thuy was elected to hold the position of Chairwoman of the MAG Quang Tri Project Trade Union.
The success of the Congress is an important milestone, creating a premise for the MAG Quang Tri Project Trade Union to continue to promote its role as a representative, caretaker, and defender the legitimate and legal rights of workers in the coming term.
