The program is organized to respond to the emulation movement launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, celebrating the success of the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress.
Mr. Nguyen Ha Xuyen - Chairman of the Vietnam Agriculture and Environment Trade Union said: "On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Agriculture and Environment Trade Union, I express my agreement, strong response and determination to spread this emulation movement widely throughout the industry.
According to Mr. Nguyen Ha Xuyen, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment is currently undertaking extremely important responsibilities for the country: ensuring national food security; developing ecological agriculture and modern rural areas; effectively managing and using resources; protecting the environment; responding to climate change; promoting green growth and sustainable development.
To successfully implement those tasks, the team of officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers in the industry needs to continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, creativity, dedication and responsibility; constantly learn to improve professional qualifications and skills; master science and technology; proactively adapt to the requirements of digital transformation and international integration.
Trade union levels in the industry need to proactively concretize the movement with practical and effective action programs, suitable to the specifics of each field of work; taking the results of performing professional tasks, labor productivity, product quality and workers' lives as a measure of the effectiveness of the emulation movement.
At the same time, continue to innovate the content and methods of organizing emulation movements; promptly discover, nurture, honor and replicate advanced examples, creative labor examples, and valuable initiatives that benefit agencies, units, businesses and society.
I also hope that agencies, units and businesses will continue to pay attention to building a safe, modern, and humane working environment; create conditions for workers to study, improve professional skills, promote initiatives, and technical innovations; better care for jobs, wages, income and benefits so that workers can truly feel secure in sticking with, contributing to and developing for a long time" - Chairman of the Vietnam Agriculture and Environment Trade Union expressed.
He also called on all trade union officials, union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers in the Agriculture and Environment sector to promote the glorious tradition of the Vietnamese working class; continue to nurture the aspiration to contribute, the spirit of overcoming difficulties, the will to innovate and create; actively respond and participate in the movement with the most specific, practical and effective actions.
Strive to complete and exceed the registered target for the emulation movement "Good Labor - High Productivity - Good Income" in the period 2026 - 2031 with 15 Creative Labor degrees, 10,437 Grassroots initiatives recognized and applied.
The Chairman of the Industry Trade Union emphasized that to achieve that, each grassroots trade union has a specific action program.
Each union member has one initiative, one innovation solution.
Each collective has a practical project and product in response to the emulation movement.
Each worker is a creative core, a role model of responsibility and dedication.
