The Hanoi City Labor Federation organized a fundraising event to support the construction of a Trade Union Shelter for Ms. Duong Thi Xuyen - a union member of the Trade Union of Yamaha Motor Vietnam phunment manufacturing Co., Ltd. - a person with difficult housing circumstances.
Ms. Xuyen is a single mother, currently raising a young child, with very difficult housing circumstances. Previously, Ms. Xuyen and her children had to rent a room. Therefore, in addition to her income at the Company, Ms. Xuyen works part-time on holidays to earn more money to cover her living expenses.
Understanding the difficult circumstances of union members, the grassroots union proposed that the higher-level union support the construction of a Union Shelter for Ms. Duong Thi Xuyen.
With the support of the trade union organization, Ms. Xuyen was motivated to determined to build a spacious and solid house.
Of which, the Hanoi City Labor Federation awarded the Trade Union Shelter construction support fund of 40 million VND and a gift in kind to union member Duong Thi Xuyen. The Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zones Trade Union (a direct superior trade union of the Yamaha Motor Vietnam phunment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. Trade Union) has a meaningful gift for union members.
Having the joy of working month, Ms. Duong Thi Xuyen shared emotionally that her dream of a house has become a reality thanks to the Trade Union organization. From here, she and her children no longer have to rent a house.
