seriously review the spread of counterfeit and fake goods
In group No. 13, Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man contributed his opinion that in recent times, the issue of counterfeit, counterfeit, and poor quality goods has received great attention from the public.
In particular, recently, a series of large-scale cases of counterfeit, counterfeit, and poor quality goods have been discovered and handled by the authorities.
"We have laws, the Steering Committee has us, from the Central to the local levels, but why let the above situation happen, especially in large numbers. This issue needs to be seriously reviewed.
In the locality, it is necessary to strengthen market management, and authorities must take more drastic action to make consumers trust and feel secure," said National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man.

The National Assembly Chairman also said that all levels and sectors have launched a campaign to encourage Vietnamese people to use Vietnamese goods. However, for consumers to choose, they must pay attention to the quality of goods, thereby being able to encourage people to use them.
Responsibilities of relevant units
The issue of counterfeit, fake, and poor quality goods was of interest to many delegates in this morning's group discussion (May 23).
Delegates highly appreciated the authorities nationwide for their recent dismantling and discovery of many cases of counterfeit goods, including milk, functional foods, medicine... to protect people's health.
Participating in contributing opinions, delegate Thai Thu Xuong - Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (National Assembly Delegation of Hau Giang Province) paid special attention to the widespread and widespread sale of counterfeit, fake, and poor quality goods.
Citing reality, the delegate said that in recent days, press agencies have reported that at Ninh Hiep market (Gia Lam, Hanoi), there has been a situation of counterfeit and fake goods being sold publicly for many years. However, recently, when inspection teams arrived, a series of kiosks were simultaneously closed.
From the above reality, the delegate raised the issue of how market management operates, what is the role of state management when the whole market publicly sells counterfeit and fake goods like that.
Authorities need to strengthen inspection, localities need to strengthen their role in inspection and examination to repel counterfeit and counterfeit goods, delegate Thai Thu Xuong suggested.
The delegate also assessed that counterfeit goods, fake brands, and poor quality goods still circulating on the market not only affect consumers, but also affect domestic production enterprises, the number of orders decreased, thereby reducing the income of workers.

Delegate Nguyen Thi Thu Nguyet - National Assembly Delegation of Dak Lak province said that in recent times, the participation of the Government, ministries and branches to prevent trade fraud, counterfeit goods and counterfeit goods has been effective and has received the attention of a large number of people and society.
The delegate also expressed the view that this problem is not new, but given the increasing number of counterfeit goods in traditional markets, e-commerce platforms, social networking platforms, and even in high-quality stalls that are mixed with quality goods, the problem of how to solve them to be more fundamental is important.
"Currently, we have established a Steering Committee 389 from the central to local levels with all ministries and branches in the fight against counterfeit, counterfeit and poor quality goods. But this situation is still happening and is getting more and more complicated, said delegate Nguyen Thi Thu Nguyet.
