The delegation of the Korea Trade Union Federation, headquartered in Gyeonggi province, was led by Mr. Min Han Gi - Head of the Administrative Department.
Receiving and working with the delegation were Mr. Kha Van Tam - Chairman of Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor; representatives of the Propaganda Department, the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department and specialized departments of the Provincial Federation of Labor.
At the seminar, the two sides discussed the results of trade union activities in recent times, sharing experiences in representing and protecting workers' rights, especially in Korean enterprises. The representative of Nghe An Trade Union also informed about the organization's operational orientation for the 2025-2030 term, after the 20th Provincial Trade Union Congress.

The two sides discussed in depth issues of mutual concern such as: organization and experience of trade union activities at Korean enterprises; mechanisms to protect trade union officials; the situation of Vietnamese workers, including many Nghe An workers living and working in Gyeonggi; and the concern of the Korean Trade Union for Vietnamese workers.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Kha Van Tam expressed his pleasure at welcoming the working delegation, and hoped that the cooperative relationship between the two provincial trade unions would become increasingly close and more effective in the coming time.

The friendly cooperation between Nghe An and Gyeonggi provinces was established in 2009 and re-signed in 2014. To date, there are 24 projects invested by Korean enterprises in Nghe An with a total capital of nearly 170 million USD, creating jobs for about 15,000 workers. From 2018 to present, more than 5,000 Nghe An workers have gone to Korea to work.
The seminar took place in a friendly and open atmosphere and ended with a souvenir giving ceremony between the two sides.
