On August 31, the Vung Tau Ward Labor Union said that it had coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of the ward to organize the provision of monthly support to households in especially difficult circumstances and lonely elderly people in the area.
This is a meaningful activity, contributing to reducing the burden of daily living, while also adding motivation for families to strive to improve their lives.
Thereby, Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward, Chairman of the Vung Tau Ward Trade Union - represented the house to visit and directly presented gifts worth 1 million VND to 2 cases in difficult circumstances and alone.
According to Ms. Minh, each monthly support gift, although not large in material things, contains the thoughts, feelings, sharing and deep concern of Vung Tau ward, contributing to realizing the Party's major policy of "leaving no one behind" in the era of national growth. In the coming time, the locality will always accompany the people, especially those in difficult circumstances, lonely... to jointly build a strong great solidarity bloc.
The program has been maintained regularly by Vung Tau ward, becoming a loving bridge between local authorities and communities with unfortunate lives. Through the activity, it not only spreads profound human values, but also affirms and promotes the strength of the great national unity bloc, joining hands to build Vung Tau ward to be more and more civilized, modern, and sustainable.
