HCMC - The HCMC Labor Federation (HCMC) has presented 10 million VND in support to grassroots union officials with serious illnesses.

On August 27, Area Management Working Group No. 9 of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation said that it had visited, encouraged and presented support to the family of Mr. T.C.H - a union officer of KDK Electric Wire Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Ben Cat Ward, Ho Chi Minh City).

It is known that Mr. T.C.H suffered from cerebral hemorrhage right after his shift, and he had to be transferred to the hospital many times to continue treatment. Currently, he is paralyzed in the right half of his body and is being actively treated at Binh Duong General Hospital.

Mr. Nguyen Tan Dat - Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation said that immediately after receiving the incident, the Area Management Working Group No. 9 promptly directed the Company's Trade Union to coordinate with the Company's Board of Directors to monitor and support Mr. H. At the same time, the City Labor Federation has taken advantage of the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union Support Program to give 10 million VND to support his family.

Meeting Mr. H's family, Mr. Nguyen Tan Dat kindly visited Mr. H's health condition, and at the same time shared and encouraged the family to overcome the difficulties in their current life.

Mr. Nguyen Tan Dat - Vice Chairman of the City Labor Federation emphasized: The Trade Union always accompanies and shares with union members and workers who are unfortunately suffering from serious illnesses, work-related accidents, and are facing difficulties in life to help their families reduce their burden. More importantly, Trade Unions at all levels always put the goal of protecting the health and safety of workers' lives first, so that each worker and union member can feel secure in sticking with and working long-term.
