On May 8, Nha Trang Ward Trade Union (Khanh Hoa) said that it had successfully organized the Launching Ceremony of the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health and Workers' Month 2026 with the participation of many grassroots trade unions, businesses and union members in the area.
According to Ms. Pham Thi Thuy Phuong, the whole ward currently has more than 14,500 trade union members operating in grassroots trade unions.
This year's Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health aims to raise awareness and responsibility of businesses, employers and employees in ensuring a safe working environment, limiting labor accidents and occupational diseases.

The Ward Trade Union launched a peak period of propaganda on labor law, occupational safety and health and social insurance in many appropriate forms for workers to easily access and implement. At the same time, pay attention to preventing labor accidents, occupational diseases and improving working conditions at enterprises.
For workers, the trade union encourages raising self-protection awareness, strictly complying with safe working procedures, especially when operating equipment with strict requirements for labor safety.
Representing grassroots trade unions, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Oanh said that in the context of digital transformation and deep integration, workers need to proactively learn, innovate and master technology to improve labor productivity.
According to Ms. Oanh, initiatives and technical improvements from workers will contribute to improving competitiveness and sustainable development for businesses.

Responding to Workers' Month, grassroots trade unions committed to promoting the emulation movement of creative labor, technical improvement, building a "Green - Clean - Beautiful" working environment, ensuring labor safety and hygiene.
On this occasion, Nha Trang Ward Trade Union presented 250 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to support union members and workers who have had labor accidents, suffer from dangerous diseases and are in difficult circumstances.
The funding is deducted from the union member care program of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation in Workers' Month 2026.
Mr. Nguyen Huu Hoa - Nguyen Huu Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation requested grassroots trade unions to continue to care for union members, especially workers in difficult circumstances, who have had labor accidents or suffer from occupational diseases.
