On the morning of February 3, 2025, Tran Yen Commune Trade Union organized a ceremony to award "Trade Union Warm House" to union member Sung A Chau, a member of the grassroots Trade Union of Tan Phu Co., Ltd., implementing the policy of the Provincial Labor Federation on caring for the lives of union members in housing difficulties.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Vu Cao Minh - Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation, representatives of leaders of Tan Phu Co., Ltd., leaders of Tran Yen Commune Trade Union and local authorities.
Union member Sung A Chau has 13 years of working at Tan Phu Co., Ltd., is the main breadwinner in a family of 4 people, low income, and has had to live in a degraded temporary house for many years.
Faced with that situation, trade union levels have supported the construction of a solid level 4 house, with an area of nearly 90m2, helping the family stabilize their lives.
The total construction cost is nearly 320 million VND, of which the Provincial Labor Federation supported 50 million VND from the Trade Union Social Fund; union members and workers of Tan Phu Co., Ltd. contributed 60 million VND; the rest is supported by family and relatives.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Vu Cao Minh affirmed that the "Trade Union Home" program demonstrates the responsibility and companionship of the Trade Union organization in caring for the lives of union members and workers. This is a source of encouragement for union members to feel secure in working and attached to businesses.
Moved to receive a new house, union member Sung A Chau expressed his gratitude for the concern and support of Trade Union levels and said that he will work hard and actively participate in Trade Union activities.
