Mr. Nguyen Luong Tam - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the Vietnam Medical Union chaired the meeting; also attending were Mr. Vu Anh Tuan - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Medical Union; leaders of professional departments of the Vietnam Medical Union and all officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers of the Vietnam Medical Union.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Luong Tam emphasized that the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress is an important political event of the working class and the Vietnam Trade Union organization, marking a new step in the development of the trade union organization in the new period.
The Congress will take place from June 3 to 5, 2026 in Hanoi with the participation of 780 official delegates representing the will and aspirations of union members and workers nationwide.
To practically respond and orient towards the Congress, Mr. Nguyen Luong Tam requested professional departments to proactively advise and guide affiliated trade union levels to promote propaganda about the meaning and importance of the Congress;
Launching and effectively implementing patriotic emulation movements, focusing on the movement "Good labor, creative labor", the movement "Vietnam Medical Union accompanies for the health of union members and workers" and emulation movements associated with the professional tasks of the sector.
At the same time, organize practical and meaningful activities, creating a vibrant emulation atmosphere among union members and workers, and achieving achievements to celebrate the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress.
The Chairman of the Vietnam Medical Union also requested relevant departments and units to urgently coordinate to fully and thoughtfully prepare the conditions for the delegation of the Vietnam Medical Union to attend the Congress; ensure good content, propaganda, logistics and assigned tasks, contributing to the delegation of the health sector participating in the Congress with a spirit of responsibility, solidarity, wisdom, and actively contributing to the overall success of the Congress.
At the meeting, delegates discussed and agreed on a plan to organize propaganda and emulation activities and practical projects and tasks to welcome the Congress.
In which, focus on promoting propaganda about the glorious tradition of the working class and the Vietnam Trade Union organization; Propaganda about the goals, meanings, contents and activities towards the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress;
Register to implement projects, products, and tasks to celebrate the Congress; organize sports activities; promote the work of caring for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers; and at the same time strengthen communication activities on digital platforms to spread the vibrant emulation atmosphere throughout the industry.
Sector Trade Union activities organize the launching ceremony of the "Good Labor, High Productivity, Good Income" emulation movement in the 2026-2031 period, celebrating the success of the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress;
Organize a Conference to deploy the emulation movement "Cadres, trade union members and workers of the health sector implement breakthrough solutions, strengthen the protection, care and improvement of people's health, for the satisfaction and trust of the people";
Launching an online contest to learn about Resolution 72-NQ/TW of the Politburo; organizing the Commendation of typical families of workers, civil servants, and laborers in the 2024-2026 period and children of workers, civil servants, and laborers in the health sector with high achievements in studying and training in the 2024-2025, 2025-2026 school years...
The meeting also thoroughly grasped the key contents of the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress with the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", towards building a strong trade union organization, improving the quality of trade union officials, promoting the application of science and technology and digital transformation in trade union activities.
Concluding the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Luong Tam requested grassroots trade unions directly under him to proactively develop implementation plans suitable to the practical conditions of the unit; organize practical and effective activities, creating a lively and exciting emulation atmosphere among union members and workers in the health sector, contributing to celebrating the success of the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, term 2026 - 2031.
