Functional forces promptly rescued 4 people trapped in the fire that occurred at a supermarket in Tay Ho ward.
At about 1 pm on June 2, a fire broke out at a supermarket located on the 1st floor of a 3-story building on Lac Long Quan street, Tay Ho ward, Hanoi city.
The fire caused black smoke to cover the 1st floor area of the building. Discovering the incident, people shouted for help and reported it to the functional forces.
Immediately after receiving the news, the Fire and Rescue Team of Area 14 (Fire and Rescue Police Department of Hanoi City Police) dispatched 2 fire trucks and many officers and soldiers to the scene to deploy fire fighting and rescue operations.
After a few minutes of approaching, functional forces controlled the fire and promptly brought 4 trapped people out safely.
According to the police agency, the fire did not cause any casualties. The cause of the incident is being investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
