Timely support both mentally and physically
Until now, Ms. Vi Thi Ly - a teacher at Linh Toai Kindergarten (Ha Trung) is still very emotional when talking about the Trade Union organization that supported her to have a new house.
Ms. Ly is a Thai ethnic. Her husband died early. She alone, with a small salary, struggled to raise 3 children to study, so over the past years, her family's life has been difficult in many ways. The house of more than 40 square meters has been the home of Ms. Ly's 4 children and 7 other relatives for many years. Understanding the difficulties of her family, the Ha Trung District Labor Federation has asked the Provincial Labor Federation to support her in building a "Union Shelter".
With 45 million VND supported by the Provincial Federation of Labor and the help of relatives and colleagues, she was able to build a spacious and solid house.
Many years ago, Nguyen Thi Hang and her husband, in Dan Quyen commune (Trieu Son), decided to go to the South to start a business. When the fourth wave of COVID-19 broke out, their income was unstable. On the way back to their hometown, in Binh Thuan, her husband passed away due to COVID-19. At that time, the Provincial Federation of Labor and the Trieu Son District Federation of Labor regularly encouraged, visited and supported the family financially. The union connected her to have a stable job in the locality.
"The union members always encourage me to improve my life. I am very touched," said Ms. Hang.
Ms. Ly and Ms. Hang are just individuals among thousands of workers who have received timely attention and support from Thanh Hoa province's trade unions, both spiritually and materially.
