On October 1, Mr. Le Van My - Chairman of the Bac Nha Trang Ward Trade Union said that immediately after its establishment was announced, the Ward Trade Union Executive Committee urgently developed an action plan.
On the eve of the 2025 Mid-Autumn Festival, the Ward Union organized a "Full Moon Festival" program for children of union members of 7 grassroots unions with a large number of workers.
At the program, leaders of Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor, Ward Trade Union and sponsoring units presented 40 gifts (worth 1 million VND/gift, including gifts and cash) to union members' children in difficult and special circumstances.
The children also participate in exciting games, watch lion dances, compete in receiving gifts..., creating a joyful and meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival atmosphere.
According to Mr. Bui Dang Thanh - Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor, this is the first ward union to implement Mid-Autumn Festival activities for children of union members according to the general plan of the Provincial Federation of Labor.
The Bac Nha Trang Ward Trade Union is one of 14 ward trade unions established after Khanh Hoa implemented the 2-level government model.
The unit was announced by the Provincial Federation of Labor on September 25, with an Executive Committee of 15 people; Mr. Le Van My - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Trade Union.
Currently, Bac Nha Trang ward has 61 grassroots unions with 6,025 union members/6,482 workers. With the new model, the Ward Trade Union will be an extension of the Provincial Federation of Labor in representing, protecting the legitimate rights and caring for the lives of workers.
